What is it?
The Inter-School Choir Awards was to have piloted in Enfield in 2020 but was postponed as a result of Covid-19. RWF representatives will audition students to form a number of school choirs and work closely with them to produce a showstopping performance. The schools would then compete against each other in a live show in a professional theatre. Whilst we have no firm plans for this project in the future it is one, we wish to pursue in the future and would welcome expressions of interest.
Who’s it for?
School students from across the country, aged 11 to 18 can take part through by responding to an open call for submissions. They might be referred by their teachers or decide to reach out themselves. Students need not be part of an existing singing group or choir- we are just looking for young people who want to give it a go and take part in something wonderful.
